Our Family Story: In 2013, we set out on a six-month adventure across the Nation in our 5th. wheel trailer. While we were traveling, we started short-term renting our 5-bedroom Lake Tahoe home. When we returned, I joked, “Well, honey, it looks like we lost our home!”—because we were doing so well short-term renting it. That success inspired us to keep going, and soon we had built a portfolio of four spacious, 5-6 bedroom homes in the Lake Tahoe area. Our company was making over $1 million a year!

As local regulations tightened for residential vacation homes, we shifted our business model into the commercial market and are rebranding our new properties as “Motels.” That’s when KINLUX was born. Now, we’re excited to invite investors to join us as we grow KINLUX into a go to name for larger group and family rentals around the world.
